Offers two types of membership: Patron, and Adult. Patron memberships are tax-deductible
and begin at $100.00 per year and confer special priviledges not available with
Adult or Youth memberships. Otherwise, annual dues for adults or youths are $10.00
per year. Annual dues for Patron members are due one year from the time of becoming
a Patron member. Adult memberships are renewed every year on September 1, and
expire on August 31 of the next year.
Membership is required for participation in all TCA related chess events in Tennessee
except certain scholastic-only competitions. All members with the exception of
Family Memberships receive the Tennessee Chess News which is published quarterly
and is the official magazine of the TCA.
Memberships may be purchased at any chess tournament, or you may print from the

TCA family membership
includes membership for the entire family, one copy of the TCA yearbook, all other membership benefits listed above. Family memberships are available only to family members of a regular or patron member.
